Gordon was a recruit of the Survey Corps who joined after the crowning of Historia Reiss at some point during the two months between the attack at Orvud District and the return to Shiganshina District, where he was assigned to Squad Klaus.
Gordon was a fairly tall man with an average build and a defined jaw line. He had short, black hair that was cropped at the sides and combed forward. After joining the Survey Corps, Gordon wore the standard uniform of the regiment.
During the feast before the expedition to Shiganshina District, Gordon accompanies Floch Forster as he rhetorically asks Jean Kirstein if 104th recruits and former Garrison members such as himself and his friends are that unreliable.
